Newbury Park Adventist Academy is seeking an experienced, credentialed Academy Principal. The school is located in Newbury Park, CA and serves students in grades 9-12. The school cultivates a welcoming atmosphere, a spiritually encouraging climate, and an involved, family-focused community.

Required Experience

The successful candidate must have an advanced degree in Educational Administration and Leadership or in an appropriate content area, MA, M.Ed., Ed.S. is desirable.  3 or more years of experience preferred in successful administrative leadership at the Academy level with strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.   The candidate will be a committed, practicing Seventh-day Adventist who believes that Christian Education is a mission and a calling. Must be willing to mentor students to Christ by sharing God’s love and grace on a daily basis. Successful teaching at the academic level, strong organization and leadership skills, and a passion for sharing Christ with students are required.  Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
