Hermiston Adventist School is seeking a full-time Grades 1–8 teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
Hermiston Adventist School is a small, multi-grade elementary school serving students and families in and around Hermiston. Hermiston is the largest city in Eastern Oregon, with a population of about 20,000. Located just seven miles south of the Columbia River and the Washington state line, it is known for growing wonderful watermelon.
Our school community exists to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve.
Hermiston Christian School enjoys strong support from local Seventh-day Adventist churches as well as a dedicated school Foundation that actively supports the mission and growth of the school.
The school is located about one hour west of Walla Walla University, providing access to a vibrant Adventist educational community.
Salary and benefits are provided according to the denominational wage scale and policies.
The qualified candidate must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree and hold denominational certification or be willing to work towards it. Candidates must already possess, and be able to provide evidence of, the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
