Auburn Adventist Academy (AAA) seeks a principal for the academic year 2026-2027. AAA is a high school catering to grades 9-12, boasting an enrollment exceeding 220 students. For decades, it has been a committed provider of Adventist Education within the Washington Conference, functioning as the premier boarding school in the region, with approximately a third of its student body residing in the dormitories. The academy school board endeavors to appoint a principal who will collaborate closely with the Washington Conference Education Department to establish a robust, nurturing, and sustainable school.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Spiritual leader for the school community and exemplifies a Jesus-led leadership style (kind and grace filled)
Exceptional communication skills, fostering a positive school climate
Supporting the administrative team, faculty, and staff by fostering cohesion within the academic community
Promoting excellence across academic and extracurricular domains
Collaborating with the VP for Finance to ensure fiscal stability
Qualifications:
Candidates must be committed, baptized members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. A Master’s Degree in Administration is preferred but not required. Applicants must hold at minimum a bachelor’s degree in Education and demonstrate a proven record of leadership. Candidates must also possess authorization to work in the United States.
Salary:
The salary follows the Standard NPUC Salary Scale and ranges from $58,000 to $71,500, with an additional cost-of-living allowance provided due to the high cost of living in the area.
