Upper Columbia Academy is seeking an associate head girls’ dean for the 2026-2027 school year. This position works closely with the head girls’ dean for the school in a supervisory capacity for the girls’ dorm.

The associate head girls’ dean supports the overall operation of the girls’ residence hall, assisting in the supervision and coordination of dormitory life. Responsibilities include overseeing daily dorm functions such as worships, study halls, and social activities; helping maintain a positive, safe, and spiritually supportive environment; and providing guidance and mentorship to students. The role may also involve supervising students during school-sponsored trips and participating in additional school-related duties as assigned. Currently, this position is also the Yearbook sponsor.

Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policies.

Required Experience

The qualified candidate must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree, and previous experience in a boarding academy is preferred but not required. Candidates must already possess, and be able to provide evidence of, the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
