The Caldwell Adventist Elementary has a full-time PK-K teacher position opening. CAES is a 4-teacher school near Gem State Adventist Academy. Both schools are in Caldwell, Idaho.

 We are looking for candidates with a genuine passion for inspiring young minds and helping lay a strong foundation for both academic growth and preparation for eternity.  Candidates should have experience or be willing to transition to standards-based learning; provide a balanced academic and developmental program that offers multisensory instruction and prepares students for first grade. The ideal candidate is creative, flexible, and a collaborative team player who thrives in a close-knit environment.

The teacher will be responsible for covering recesses and helping with school programs and events, such as the kindergarten graduation, Christmas programs, and fundraising events. The team at this school is collaborative and helps share the load. It is a great place to work with great churches supporting the school.

Qualifications:

• Have a BA in Elementary Education
• Be a baptized Seventh-day Adventist
• Experience teaching PreK/K preferred
• Familiarity with or willingness to participate in UFLI training
• ESL experience preferred
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Strong classroom management and ability to effectively teach and reinforce classroom procedures
• Nurturing approach with a heart for young children
