Upper Columbia Academy (UCA) is seeking an Athletic Director / PE Teacher starting the 2026-2027 school year. Primary responsibilities include teaching physical education classes, program oversight of the gymnasium, scheduling sports programming, and attending league meetings. This position is an integral voice on the UCA Athletic Committee.

UCA is a strong boarding academy located 20 minutes south of Spokane, WA and is the boarding academy for the Upper Columbia Conference. There are approximately 220 students, with students being either full-time dorm, part-time dorm, or village (community).

Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policies.

The qualified candidate must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree, and possess or commit to completing coursework to obtain NAD certification in physical education. Candidates must already possess, and be able to provide evidence of, the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
