North Tampa Christian Academy is a rapidly growing kindergarten through twelfth-grade school with nearly 600 students. The school is located in Wesley Chapel, one of the fastest-growing communities in the country. This innovative school combines the advantages of Adventist education with the latest advances in facility design, instructional practice, technology, and entrepreneurial leadership. Instructional practices include blended learning, competency-based grading, collaborative teaching, and project-based learning.

NTCA is seeking a mission-aligned, strategic educational leader to serve as vice principal whose primary responsibilities include academic counseling and instructional coaching. This senior-level administrator will play a critical role in strengthening both student academic planning and instructional excellence across kindergarten through twelfth grade. This position is designed to ensure that every student is intentionally guided toward successful graduation and university readiness, while also elevating instructional quality through coaching, evaluation, and professional development of faculty. The ideal candidate will be a strong academic and spiritual leader who is willing to champion 21st-century learning methods. The candidate will also have a passion for the community and seek ways to show Jesus to a diverse community and student body. The selected applicant will work with the administrative team to lead the programming for nearly 600 students and 45 educators.

Required Experience

Applicant must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. A minimum of a bachelor's degree and North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification is required and must be maintained (or must agree to work towards obtaining NAD Certification). A master’s degree in education or a related field is preferred (educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, etc.). A minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching and administrative experience are required.
