Collegedale Academy (CA) is a thriving Seventh-day Adventist EC–12 school located in Collegedale, Tennessee. Serving approximately 900 students, CA is blessed by its location on the campus of Southern Adventist University, providing rich opportunities for academic excellence, spiritual growth, and meaningful community connection.

CA is seeking a dynamic, spiritually grounded, full-time High School Vice Principal for the 2026–2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while supporting the mission and vision of Collegedale Academy.

This position will work closely with the high school principal and school leadership team to cultivate a Christ-centered learning environment that encourages critical thinking, academic growth, spiritual development, and personal reflection. The High School Vice Principal will play a key role in strengthening both student academic planning and instructional excellence, helping ensure that students are intentionally guided toward successful graduation and readiness for university and life beyond high school.

In addition, this role may offer the opportunity to remain connected to students in the classroom, helping strengthen alignment between academic systems and the student learning experience.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will be a baptized, tithe-paying member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States, with documentation required upon employment.

A master’s degree in Education and/or Educational Leadership is preferred, along with a current North American Division (NAD) Administrative Certificate.

It is CA’s preference that the ideal candidate has NAD subject matter certification for 9-12th grade. This position may include teaching classes, depending on enrollment and scheduling needs, providing a unique opportunity to remain actively engaged in student learning while serving in a key administrative role.

The successful applicant will exhibit a Christ-centered, service-oriented mindset and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families from diverse cultural, racial, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds is essential.
