High School Registrar

Collegedale Academy in Collegedale, TN
Southern Union Conference | Georgia-Cumberland Conference
Description

Collegedale Academy (CA) is a thriving Seventh-day Adventist EC–12 school located in Collegedale, Tennessee. Serving approximately 900 students, CA is blessed by its location on the campus of Southern Adventist University, providing rich opportunities for academic excellence, spiritual growth, and meaningful community connection.

CA is seeking a detail-oriented, relational, and spiritually grounded full-time High School Registrar for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role is ideal for an educator or administrator who is passionate about both student systems and student relationships—someone who thrives at the intersection of organization, student support, and school-wide impact.

This position will work closely with the high school principal, vice principal, counselor, and school leadership team to support student academic planning and institutional effectiveness. The High School Registrar will play a vital role in maintaining student records, managing transcripts, coordinating course schedules, and ensuring compliance with graduation requirements and accreditation standards.  This administrative position is essential in helping ensure that each student is intentionally supported on a clear path toward successful graduation and university readiness.

In addition, this role may offer the opportunity to remain connected to students in the classroom, helping strengthen alignment between academic systems and the student learning experience.

At Collegedale Academy, we are committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially. We welcome candidates who share this vision and who are eager to join us in educating, equipping, and inspiring students to serve.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will be a baptized, tithe-paying member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States, with documentation required upon employment.

A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree in education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is preferred.

It is CA’s preference that the ideal candidate has NAD subject matter certification for 9-12th grade. This position may include teaching classes, depending on enrollment and scheduling needs, providing a unique opportunity to remain actively engaged in student learning while serving in a key administrative role. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage detailed records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Experience working with student information systems (such as PowerSchool or similar platforms) is highly preferred.

The successful applicant will exhibit a Christ-centered, service-oriented mindset and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to build meaningful relationships with students and families from diverse cultural, racial, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds is essential.  Above all, the successful candidate will demonstrate a deep love for God, a genuine passion for working with young people, and a commitment to supporting each student’s spiritual, academic, and personal journey—with the ultimate desire of helping lead each child toward the Kingdom of Heaven.
