Tulsa Adventist Academy is seeking a full-time Campus Chaplain / Music Teacher beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.

This position provides spiritual leadership for the campus while also leading the school’s music program. The Campus Chaplain / Music Teacher helps cultivate a Christ-centered environment where students grow spiritually, develop their musical gifts, and actively participate in worship and school life.

The role combines high school Bible instruction with music education for students from PreK through 12th grade. The chaplain should maintain an active presence across campus and build meaningful relationships with students across grade levels.

The ideal candidate will enjoy building strong relationships with students and contributing to a supportive school community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and collaborate with a team in the planning and organization of chapels and campus spiritual programming
  • Teach Bible classes at the high school level
  • Provide spiritual encouragement and guidance for students
  • Maintain an active relational presence across campus
  • Teach music and choir for students from PreK–12
  • Develop and strengthen the school’s music program
  • Lead student musical groups and performances
  • Work collaboratively with faculty and administration to support the mission of the school
Required Experience

Required Experience

  • Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing
  • Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Adventist education
  • North American Division teaching certification in both Religion and Music, or the ability to obtain certification
  • Experience teaching music and working with students in a school setting
  • Ability to lead student worship experiences and develop musical talent
  • Strong relational and teamwork skills
