Mills River SDA School is located just minutes Asheville, NC and from gorgeous mountain views and hiking. Local attractions include Biltmore Estate, The Grove Park Inn, Great Smoky National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to name just a few. Mills River is a rapidly growing five-teacher school and is in the process of expanding its facility.  The school is supported by a faithful local congregation and constituency, an active Board, and committed parents. Position: Mills River is looking for a grades 1 and 2 teacher. The candidate must be an outstanding individual who is passionate about teaching students the love of God through academic disciplines.

A qualified applicant must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist who has teaching experience at the elementary level and holds current NAD certification or is eligible for Conditional certification. A knowledge and the practice of 4MAT and Standards-Based Learning in the classroom is preferred. The applicant must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
