Houston Adventist Academy (HAA) is a growing Preschool–12th grade academy located in Cypress, Texas, a suburb of Houston. With approximately 210 students, HAA is supported by a strong church family, a dedicated school board, and a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Houston Adventist Academy is seeking a dynamic principal with strengths in areas of administration, organization, and strategic planning for the 2026 – 2027 school year. An ideal candidate will have a spiritual mindset that will strive for academic excellence and spiritual development for students and personnel across all grade levels. 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, Christ-centered instruction aligned with the Seventh-day Adventist curriculum
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and spiritually enriching school environment that supports student growth and well-being
• Integrate faith and learning while promoting academic excellence across all grade levels (PK-12)
• Uphold school policies, safety standards, and Adventist educational principles
• Provide strong leadership in school finance, budgeting, fundraising, and marketing initiatives to support sustainability and drive enrollment growth
• Ensure our school thrives both spiritually and operationally.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with school faculty, staff, parents, and the church community to support student development
• Evaluate staff performance, foster professional growth, and oversee curriculum development for PK-12
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and consistent communication with parents and administration
• Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Master’s degree in administration or education preferred.
• Holds or is eligible for North American Division (NAD) Administrator Certification.
• Active membership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 
• Minimum of 5+ years of solid principal or administrative experience with skills to manage the business of education
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
