Are you passionate about shaping young minds while also providing Christ-centered leadership in a small school setting? Do you thrive in an environment where your influence reaches beyond the classroom and into the life of the entire school community? Muscatine Adventist Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching-Principal to lead our one-classroom school.
At Muscatine Adventist Christian School, education is deeply personal. Our small-school environment allows for meaningful relationships with students and families, individualized support, and a strong sense of community. As Teaching-Principal, you will play a vital role in fostering students’ academic growth, spiritual development, and character formation, while also providing leadership for the daily operation of the school.
This position is ideal for someone who values both teaching and leadership. Our students have a love for the outdoors and would love to continue to develop their outdoor learning, to complement their classroom instruction. In addition to providing high-quality instruction in a multi-grade classroom, the Teaching-Principal will oversee day-to-day school responsibilities, communicate effectively with parents and the school board, support school improvement efforts, and help ensure compliance with conference, accreditation, and state-related expectations. Because Muscatine Adventist Christian School accepts Iowa ESA funds, this role also includes attention to required documentation, reporting, and accountability processes connected to that program.
