Rio Lindo Adventist Academy is a private Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school located in beautiful Northern California. We are seeking a Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This individual will lead a dynamic music program that inspires students to develop their musical gifts while deepening their spiritual and creative expression.

As a school implementing Standards-Based Learning (SBL), we are seeking an educator who values clear learning targets, meaningful assessment, and helping students demonstrate mastery over time.

Duties include but are not limited to teaching music courses, directing ensembles, organizing performances, integrating faith into instruction, and fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience teaching high school students
• Ability to direct and develop student ensembles
• Understanding of or willingness to implement Standards-Based Learning (SBL)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Commitment to the mission and NCC core values
• Active, supportive member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
