Mount Pisgah Academy, a Seventh-day Adventist boarding academy in Candler, NC, is seeking a School Counselor to support the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth of students.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor academic progress and guide students in goal-setting (including MAP growth)
* Provide individual and small group counseling support
* Respond to student mental health needs, including triage and referrals
* Develop and deliver Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programming
* Support students with Accommodation Plans through regular check-ins and progress tracking
* Assist juniors and seniors with college and career planning (ACT/SAT, applications, transcripts)
* Coordinate college visits and career exploration opportunities
* Collaborate with staff, dorm teams, and families to support student success
This is a full-time salaried position. On-campus housing is available at a reasonable rate.

Candidates should be in good standing with the Seventh-day Adventist church and have the legal right to work within the United States.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s required; Master’s in School Counseling (preferred)
* Experience working with adolescents
* Strong relational, communication, and organizational skills
* Commitment to mentoring students in a Christ-centered boarding school environment
