Thunderbird Adventist Academy is looking for a Christ-Centered individual who is secondary certified in English.  This position includes teaching the following classes: English 9, 10, 11, & 12; possible dual credit; and other boarding academy duties, such as daily weekend supervision rotations and class or student association sponsorships.  

Candidates must be team players with a positive attitude and outlook, and a desire to inspire students to know Jesus Christ in the classroom.  Candidates should also be excited to learn, as we are on a journey of becoming a High Reliability School that incorporates Standards-Based Learning.

A bachelor’s degree in English and have Seventh-day Adventist denominational certification in Secondary English or be willing to obtain it. A master's degree is preferred for teaching dual-credit classes, and knowledge of Spanish is beneficial but not required.
