West Coast Christian Academy is located on the beautiful Gulf coast of Florida, just south of Tampa Bay in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, near the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island and Siesta Key. The school offers a Christ-centered Adventist education to an enrollment of nearly 60 students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. The school's pre-k program is a part of the Florida Voluntary pre-k program for four-year-olds, and the high school program is a satellite/distance learning program through Atlanta Adventist Academy. WCCA may be the oldest continually operating SDA school in the Florida Conference, having been established in 1892. The school community is multicultural, serving the local English, Spanish and Haitian churches. The area churches and school board are very supportive.

WCCA has an opening for a dedicated, caring, dynamic, and Christ-filled teaching principal for the upcoming school year. In addition to the principal duties, responsibilities would include teaching two to three grades, with the grade levels being determined by the strengths of the applicants. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for children and educational excellence.

Applicant must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. A minimum of a bachelor's degree (master's preferred) with North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification is required and must be maintained (or must agree to work towards obtaining NAD Certification). A minimum of three years of successful classroom and administrative experience is preferred.
