Sacramento Adventist Academy (SAA) is located 20 minutes outside of Sacramento, CA in the city of Carmichael. SAA currently serves 400 students in Preschool through 12th grade. Nine churches and Adventist Health (Corporate) actively support the school. SAA is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is committed to ongoing student achievement.
Over the last ten years, SAA has experienced significant enrollment growth (150+ students), which has supported: expansion of academic and social programming, continued investment in growing/developing personnel, and major investments in infrastructure. SAA anticipates continued growth and is planning accordingly by adding this and other positions for the current and upcoming school years.
SAA is seeking a 9-12th grade Religion/Bible teacher who is passionate about the ministry of teaching, is motivated by student achievement, has experience with a standards-based approach to instruction and assessment, is creative and comfortable creating lessons with accommodations and/or modifications, possesses a growth mindset, and enjoys collaboration with colleagues.
Requirements include: bachelor's degree, current NAD teaching certificate
