The Director of Major Gifts is responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift prospects to support the strategic initiative to increase philanthropic support through focused individual, foundation, and corporate giving programs. This role concentrates on building strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community partners to secure transformational philanthropic support that advances the university's mission and goals.

• Must be currently authorized to work lawfully in the United States
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional certification beneficial
• Proven experience in procurement of major gifts preferably within a university or educational setting
• Capacity to work with a team of people to strategically integrate plans and ideas and to achieve measurable results
• Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills
