Oak Street Christian School is growing and seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Upper Grades Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year as we open a second classroom.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school with a clear mission, a supportive board, and a growing community impact. In addition to our day school program, Oak Street has a strong homeschool program that meets on campus every other week and serves up to 75 participants.

We are looking for a teacher who loves Jesus, loves students, and is committed to academic excellence and spiritual growth in the classroom.

  • Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing
  • Passion for Christian education
  • Strong classroom leadership and communication skills
  • Commitment to nurturing students academically and spiritually

  • Teach upper-grade students in a caring, engaging classroom
  • Integrate faith and learning from a biblical, Seventh-day Adventist worldview
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Support the mission and growth of the school

Required Experience

Must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing. Bachelor’s degree required; teaching credential or ability to obtain appropriate certification preferred. Candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to Christian education, effective classroom leadership, solid communication skills, and the ability to integrate faith and learning in a Christ-centered upper grades classroom. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
