The Central California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a mission-driven and collaborative Associate Superintendent of Education to support and advance the vision of Adventist education across the conference.

Position Summary:
The Associate Superintendent assists in the leadership, supervision, and development of conference-operated schools. This role supports principals and teachers, promotes academic excellence and spiritual growth, and ensures alignment with denominational standards and educational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and mentor school principals, teachers, and staff
  • Assist with hiring, evaluation, and professional development of educational personnel
  • Promote spiritual emphasis and integration of faith and learning in all schools
  • Ensure compliance with conference, union, and North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists education policies
  • Assist with accreditation processes, school improvement plans, and curriculum implementation (especially in regard to TK-8th grade)
  • Collaborate with churches, school boards, and constituents to strengthen enrollment and school culture
  • Support conflict resolution and provide guidance in personnel and school-related matters
Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to the mission of Seventh-day Adventist Church education
  • 3+ years experience as an elementary teacher
  • 5+ years as an elementary or K-12 principal
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Current denominational certification
  • Master’s degree
