 POSITION OVERVIEW

The Principal serves as the educational, operational, and spiritual leader of Ramah Christian Academy. This individual will cultivate a thriving academic environment, strengthen the school’s Adventist identity, and lead with clarity, purpose, and innovation. The successful candidate will be both a strategic thinker and servant leader, capable of guiding faculty, engaging families, and building strong community partnerships.

Required Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of successful administrative experience 
  • NAD Administrative Certification or valid NAD Professional Teaching License 
  • Minimum 7 years of teaching experience within the Adventist Education System 
  • Demonstrated expertise in: 
    • Budget planning, financial oversight, and reporting 
    • Developing and maintaining accurate financial records 
    • Organizational leadership and effective school management systems 
  • Proven ability to: 
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire faculty and staff 
    • Maintain a well-organized, efficient, and accountable school environment 
    • Execute strategic initiatives with attention to detail and outcomes 
    • LEADERSHIP QUALITIES
    • A visionary leader with a clear commitment to school growth and program expansion 
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills 
    • A collaborative team builder who fosters unity, trust, and professional excellence 
    • Ability to build and sustain strong community and church relationships 
    • Effective communicator with the ability to engage students, parents, staff, and stakeholders
