Description

Wilson Junior Academy, located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, is seeking a teacher for grades 9–10 for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is part of a small but important Jr. Academy program serving a close-knit Seventh-day Adventist community with a long history of supporting Adventist education.

With anticipated enrollment for next year, the school will operate with a K–8 classroom and a 9–10 classroom. There may also be opportunities for collaboration between teaching staff, including sharing responsibilities across grade levels and teaching to individual strengths. Depending on experience and skill set, this role may also include shared leadership or principal responsibilities.

Wilson Junior Academy is in a season of transition and opportunity. The school is seeking a teacher who is not only committed to strong academic instruction, but also values relationships, community engagement, and the mission of Adventist education. Required Experience
  • SDA Church member in good and regular standing
  • N.A.D. Credentials for 9th and 10th grade subject areas
  • Collaborative spirit with great communication skills
  • Enjoy a rural setting.
