Colville Valley Junior Academy (CVJA) is growing and seeking a teacher for a combined 4th–6thgrade or 7th-9th grade classroom.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to establish and maintain effective classroom routines that align with school policies. They will foster a structured, supportive learning environment while holding students to high standards in academics, character development, and Christ-like behavior.

This role requires attentiveness to the individual needs and circumstances of each student, creating a balanced approach to both academic and personal growth.

At CVJA, faculty and staff work collaboratively as a team, serving God through their support of one another, their students, and the broader church community. Active participation in school activities and events throughout the year is expected.

Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policies.

Required Experience

The qualified candidate must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree, and hold denominational certification or be willing to work towards it. Candidates must already possess, and be able to provide evidence of, the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
