Takoma Academy is accepting applications for the position of Mathematics Teacher for the 2026 – 2027 school year. Takoma Academy is a 9th-12th grade day academy located in beautiful Takoma Park, Maryland. The surrounding area offers an array of activities, churches, and cultural diversity. Over the past 5 years, TA has had an average enrollment of 200 students and approximately 25 - 30 faculty members. TA has a strong reputation of academic excellence and spiritual nurturing. Its sister school, Takoma Academy Preparatory School, offers grades PK-8 and is adjacent to the academy. This is an exciting time at Takoma Academy and TA Prep. Come be a part of the excitement!

The teacher will teach Algebra I and II. The preferred candidate will be someone who can teach a diverse population and encourage enthusiasm for excellence. They will be devoted to seeking out ways to encourage our young people to have a closer relationship with Christ while sharpening their minds. The ideal candidate will have completed a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Education. Teaching certification for 9-12th grade is required.
