Description

A Principal/Lead teacher is one designated by the Superintendent of Schools, in collaboration with the local school board. The person selected as principal/lead teacher serves in capacity of school leader serving as principal and lead teacher.  This individual is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school and handles conflicts that may arise within the school setting.  This individual will act as liaison between staff, parents and students ensuring that all conflicts are resolved and managed.

Required Experience

Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Achieved no less than a Bachelor's Degree
Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
Verified Volunteers clearance

Qualifications
Adventist K-8 school experience/training preferred
Effective business management skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Eligible for denominational administration endorsement
Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
Prior teaching experience preferred
Three years or more of successful teaching/administrative experience
