Position
Part-time ninth grade Photography teacher with the ability to engage and inspire students in creative expression while developing foundational skills in digital photography, visual storytelling, and image composition in accordance with curriculum guidelines and requirements of the NAD Office of Education of Seventh-day Adventists. Duties include planning and delivering hands-on photography Instruction, managing classroom and equipment use, and assessing student work. The teacher will collaborate with administrators to implement school policies and procedures and support the school’s mission and educational standards.
Requirements
• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Bachelor’s Degree or eligibility for a designated subjects/services certificate, which requires a high school diploma or highest degree earned and verified, recent experience in the relevant technical, vocational, or subject area.
• Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
• Sterling Volunteers clearance
Qualifications
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong people skills
