Position
Part-time ninth (9th) grade Physical Education teacher with the ability to challenge physical education students to adopt Healthy Lifestyles in accordance with the curriculum guidelines and requirements of NAD Office of Education of Seventh-day Adventists. Duties would include organizing and managing gym classes and collaborating with administrators to implement school policies and procedures, especially around physical education athletics.
Requirements
• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Bachelor’s Degree or eligibility for a designated subjects/services certificate, which requires a high school diploma or highest degree earned and verified, recent experience in the relevant technical, vocational, or subject area.
• Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
• Sterling Volunteers clearance
Qualifications
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong people skills
