Join a legacy. Shape a future.
Battle Creek Academy—the flagship school of Seventh-day Adventist education—is embarking on an exciting new chapter under the leadership of Principal Samantha Mills. Located in Battle Creek, MI, our K–12 school is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Multi-Disciplinary Music Teacher who wants to do more than teach notes on a page—we're looking for someone ready to inspire young hearts through music ministry.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a school community rooted in rich Adventist heritage while building something fresh and dynamic for the future.
What You'll Do:
· Lead music instruction across K–12, including choir, concert band, general music, and performance coordination
· Shape memorable experiences through concerts, chapel music, and school-wide events
· Expand your role with additional high school courses based on your certifications and interests (English, Bible, History, Science, etc.)
· Collaborate with a supportive team committed to unity, growth, and Christ-centered education
Why BCA?
· Be part of a historic school entering a season of renewal and vision
· Work alongside a servant-leader principal committed to being visible, present, and supportive
· Enjoy the flexibility and creativity that come with a smaller school environment
· Make a real impact in a tight-knit community where every student is known and valued
What We're Looking For:
· Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field
· Current or eligible teaching certification within the NAD system
· Bonus: Additional secondary endorsements (we love multi-talented educators!)
· A relational teaching style—someone who connects with students and builds trust
· A heart for Adventist education and leading students to Jesus through the gift of music
