Upper Columbia Academy Elementary School (UCAES) is seeking a full-time Teaching Principal for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an energetic, creative, organized, and compassionate individual who has a deep love for Jesus and a heart for nurturing young learners.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Christian education and lead by example—both spiritually and professionally—within the school and broader community.

This role includes both administrative leadership and classroom teaching responsibilities, with a homeroom consisting of students in grades 5 through 8.

UCAES is located in Spangle, Washington, directly across from Upper Columbia Academy, a thriving 9th–12th grade Adventist boarding school. Spangle is 20 miles south of Spokane, WA. The elementary school is supported by one constituent church, Upper Columbia Academy Church, which plays an active and meaningful role in the life of the school.

Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policies.

The qualified candidate must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree and hold denominational certification or be willing to work towards it. Candidates must already possess, and be able to provide evidence of, the legal right to work and reside in the United States.
