Sandia View Academy is looking for an experienced English teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate will possess a love for teaching and leading students to Christ. Along with the skills of a master teacher, we are seeking someone that is dynamic, creative, and will bring energy to our team. In addition, the candidate will provide a fun learning environment by staying current with techniques that captivate students' interests and engage them in learning, as well as including differentiated support and instruction. Strong communication skills along with timely grading and feedback are also an important factor for this position.

Sandia View is a small family community that builds its foundations on relationship building and a desire to serve. The candidate will continue to strengthen these relationships with each other as well as a strong relationship with Christ.

SVA is nestled in a small village near the Rio Grande which offers stunning views of the Sandias and balloon landings in the fall. The area offers great outdoor opportunities from hiking, cycling and cultural wonders to explore.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in the field of study (master’s degree and experience preferred) along with a secondary NAD teaching endorsement. Candidates should be in good standing with the Adventist church and have the legal right to work within the United States. Position will be open until filled.
