It is located in the small, quiet town of Avon Park in central Florida, about 80 miles south of Orlando. WMA has a rich history in the community and is known for their science and music programs. WMA has an opening for a full-time teacher whose responsibilities will include teaching high school Spanish I & II and middle school science. They are looking for a dedicated, caring, and dynamic teacher who is a team player, creative, and passionate about children. Applicant must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. A minimum of a bachelor's degree with North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification is required and must be maintained (or must agree to work towards obtaining NAD Certification). A minimum of three years of successful classroom experience and a strength in early childhood education are preferred.
