Description

Highland Academy seeks an Accountant for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year and beyond. Responsibilities include working directly with the Vice Principal for Finance in overseeing the financial operations of the school and working with the accounting software system to record and reconcile student charges, student payroll, and student accounts. Other responsibilities include dispursing APs, 1099's, student labor files, bank reconciliations, petty cash, and all other functions directly related to accounting in a school setting. This is a full-time position.

Required Experience

A degree in accounting or a related field. Accounting experience in a school setting is a plus. Must have the ability to work in the United States and be in good and regular standing with the Adventist Church. A desire to be part of a team and work with young people in a boarding academy setting is a must.
