Located in beautiful Cicero, Indiana, our campus sits on a 400-acre farm featuring rolling farmland, wooded acreage, a private pond, and a long border along Cicero Creek that is ideal for canoeing and fishing.  IA serves a richly diverse student body representing twenty-three countries.  We are deeply committed to service and global engagement, partnering with the Cicero SDA Church for mission trips to, most recently, El Salvador, Puerto Rico and Sri Lanka.

Position Summary

The IT Director is responsible for the oversight, development, and support of all technology systems on campus.  Candidates must be team players, support the mission and vision of the school, and provide effective technology leadership and support for students, teachers, staff, and administration.  

The Assistant Women's Dean offers a unique opportunity to shape student life, foster leadership, and make a lasting impact within a mission-driven academic community.

The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and ministry-minded, with a passion for supporting students and staff in a Christ-centered educational environment.  We are seeking an individual with a heart for service, a strong work ethic, and a passion for investing in the lives of students.  Candidates should be in good standing with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and have the legal right to work in the United States. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and vision for all campus technology systems
  • Manage and support school devices including deployment and maintenance
  • Oversee network infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability and performance
  • Maintain campus security systems, including cameras and access control
  • Support audiovisual needs for classrooms, chapel services, and school events
  • Provide technical support to staff and students in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, inventory, and procedures
  • Manage and regularly update our Indiana Academy website
  • Teach Computer Applications to the Freshmen class
  • Ability to handle disciplinary student activities, worship, and leadership programs
  • A passion for developing the character and spiritual life of our students
  • Background in organizing and implementing student activities, worship, and leadership programs
Required Experience

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience in device management
  • Working knowledge of networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
  • Boarding school experience is preferred but not required
  • Oversee and support the Head Women's Dean and the dormitory resident assistants
  • Support student spiritual life, worships, and campus activities
