Eau Claire Seventh-day Adventist School – Eau Claire, Michigan

The Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a passionate, mission-driven, and collaborative educator to serve as Teaching Principal/Teacher for Eau Claire Seventh-day Adventist School beginning in the upcoming school year.

Located in the welcoming community of Eau Claire, Michigan, Eau Claire SDA School provides Christ-centered education in a nurturing environment where students are encouraged to grow spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. The school is committed to helping students develop a personal relationship with Jesus while preparing them for lives of service and leadership.

This position offers a unique opportunity for an educator who values small-school ministry, multi-grade teaching, and collaborative leadership with the local church and community.

Position Overview

The Teaching Principal/Teacher will provide both instructional and spiritual leadership while teaching in a multi-grade classroom setting. The ideal candidate is committed to Adventist education and passionate about creating a Christ-centered learning environment where students thrive academically and spiritually.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and manage a multi-grade classroom (K–8)
  • Provide instruction aligned with the NAD curriculum and Adventist philosophy of education
  • Serve as the instructional and spiritual leader of the school
  • Collaborate closely with the school board, local church, and Michigan Conference Education Department
  • Promote school growth, enrollment, and community engagement
  • Foster a Christ-centered environment that develops character, service, leadership, and academic excellence

Required Experience

Qualifications

  • Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
  • Holds or is eligible for NAD teacher certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education required (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Experience or willingness to teach in a multi-grade classroom setting
  • Strong organizational, communication, relational, and leadership skills
  • Passion for Adventist education and mission-focused ministry
