Mile High Academy is seeking applications for a dynamic and visionary Principal to lead our academic community. The principal will play a crucial role in upholding our mission and guiding the school toward continued success. 

Description of Responsibilities: 

  • Leadership that articulates a compelling vision for academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development within the school community; provides strategic leadership in alignment with the school's mission, values, and educational philosophy; and fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders. 
  • Promotes academic excellence through curriculum development, implementation, and assessment to ensure alignment with academic standards, student needs, and educational best practices; supports faculty in their professional growth and development through mentorship, coaching, and training opportunities; and monitors student academic progress and implement interventions as needed to support student success. 
  • Builds a strong student life program that promotes a positive school culture characterized by respect, integrity, compassion, and collaboration to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. 
  • Cultivates a vibrant spiritual atmosphere grounded in biblical Seventh-day Adventist values and beliefs; facilitates opportunities for worship, Bible study, service projects, and spiritual retreats to nurture students' faith and character development; and serves as a spiritual mentor and role model for students, demonstrating a commitment to living and growing in a personal relationship with Jesus. 
  • Nurtures community engagement by building and maintaining positive relationships with parents, alumni, church leaders, and community partners and actively engages stakeholders in the life of the school through communication, collaboration, and participation in school events. 
Required Experience

Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field with previous experience in educational leadership,  commitment to Adventist education; strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and motivate faculty, staff, and students towards common goals; proficiency in educational administration, curriculum development, and assessment practices; understanding of adolescent development, student counseling, and student life programs; capacity to manage multiple priorities, solve problems creatively, and make data-informed decisions. 

The starting base salary is determined after verifying denominational credentials issued by the Mid-America Union of Seventh-day Adventists and the relevant years of experience.  Principal – MHA (12 months)
Base Pay 89% to 102% of NAD Remuneration Factor ($5,202 to $5,961 per month)
