Description

West Palm Beach Jr. Academy is a pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade elementary school located on the east coast of Florida. Eight teachers, an administrator, and additional support personnel provide instruction and guidance to an enrollment of over 150 students. WPBJA's mission is to engage the students in all aspects of life, inspiring them to fulfill their God-given potential and empowering them for eternity and to live a selfless life serving others.

WPBJA has an opening for a dedicated, caring, dynamic Christ-filled fifth-grade teacher for the upcoming school year. They are looking for someone who is a team player, creative, and who loves children. Applicants for this position must model Christ-like behavior and attitudes which will positively impact students in leading them to Christ.

Required Experience

Applicant must be a tithe-paying Seventh-day Adventist church member in good standing and have the legal right to work in the United States, providing evidence if employed. A minimum of a bachelor's degree with North American Division (Denominational) Teacher Certification with Junior Academy Endorsements in math and science is required and must be maintained (or must agree to work towards obtaining NAD Certification). Three years of successful classroom experience is preferred.
