Campion Academy is seeking a Director of Student Services to play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the school by managing a wide range of administrative tasks and maintaining confidential information. This role involves coordinating calendars and schedules, handling communication with various stakeholders, assisting with operational needs, and managing the application and enrollment process from initial tours to final enrollment. Additionally, the Director oversees the office, supervising student employees, and ensures the smooth execution of all student-related services. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advise students regarding diploma requirements and registration procedures.
  • Certify student enrollment, verify transcripts, and process necessary documentation to support student and prior students' eligibility for examinations and class standing.
  • Coordinate yearly Academic Awards and academic events for the school.
  • Coordinate class registration.
  • Evaluate transcripts to ensure students are on track for graduation and communicate with parents on student progress.
  • Track daily attendance and communicate with parents as needed.
  • Create and maintain class scheduling for the school.
  • Update and maintain all information for FACTS annually.
  • Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with faculty, administrators, students, and external agencies.
  • Maintain a variety of files and documents related to student records.
  • Prepare quarterly/semester report cards for the school.
  • Manage the international student process, serve as the PDSO of the SEVIS system, input and update information, and issue I-20 forms for students as necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate student academic progress between grading periods, identify academic issues, and liaise between students, teachers, and families to coordinate student success.
  • Monitor procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Work with the Athletic Director to report athletic eligibility according to school policy.
  • Respond to all inquiries and requests for information regarding classes, electives, and standards.
  • Respond to requests for student records information.
  • Order graduation materials such as gowns, diplomas, cords, medals, etc.
  • Serve as a resource person in interpreting policies as they relate to records and registration.
  • Serve as the Dual Credit Coordinator.
  • Maintain master school calendar, staff calendar, administrative calendar, and calendars for school resources such as meeting rooms and gyms/athletic fields.
  • Manage the application and enrollment process for families, including conducting campus tours and following up with potential students.
  • Coordinate school communication notifications through FACTS.
  • Manage substitute scheduling and process.
  • Serve as recording secretary as requested by school administration for the School Board and subcommittees, as well as staff meetings.
  • Assist other personnel in supporting the completion of their work activities as requested by school administration.
  • Weekend supervision lead--manage supervision team.
  • Week day supervision–one day per week.
  • Manage janitorial in the administration building and Hankins Hall.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Principal.
Required Experience
  • Active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing.
  • Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist education.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Successful experience in secondary education registrar services.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with student information systems, scheduling, transcripts, and academic records management preferred.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards, academic reporting, and student achievement systems preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, students, parents, and administration.
  • Experience in a boarding school setting is preferred.

Salary and benefits are based on the denomination’s wage scale policy for 12-month employment and will be commensurate with experience and credentials. Range: 58% to 78%.
