Union Springs Academy is seeking a well rounded music director who is willing to join a team that is dedicated to educating students for academic and spiritual success.
The well diversified music director would be willing to oversee the entire music program at the academy as well as the local elementary school. This would entail teaching students about music theory and performance, leading choir, band and bells at the academy level and choir and band at the local elementary school weekly. Union Springs Academy is looking for an individual who is willing to expand the music program. They must be patient, creative, organized, have great interpersonal and communication skills, and be willing to coach students for all performances. The candidate would plan and conduct school concerts, recitals, and any other music related activities.
Qualifications of the candidate:
*Education: Bachelor's degree in Music required
*Certification: Current NAD certification
*Membership: Baptized Seventh-day Adventist member ins good and regular standing
Eligibility: Must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States
Musical Proficiency: Strong skills in playing multiple instruments and understanding various music genres is expected
*Salary and benefits are provided in accordance with the denominational wage scale and policies.
