Upper Columbia Academy is seeking a head boys’ dean for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is the leader of the boys' dorm and works closely with the associate head boys’ dean and assistant deans.

The head boys’ dean leads and collaborates with the other boys' deans in the overall operation of the boys’ residence hall and dormitory life. Responsibilities include overseeing daily dorm functions such as worships, study halls, and social activities; helping maintain a positive, safe, and spiritually supportive environment; and providing guidance and mentorship to students. The role may also involve supervising students during school-sponsored trips and participating in additional school-related duties as assigned. In addition to responsibilities in the boys’ dorm, there will likely be an additional responsibility at Upper Columbia Academy that will be determined in collaboration with the school administration.

Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale and policies.

Required Experience

The qualified candidate must be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing. Candidates should have previous experience in a boarding academy. Candidates must already possess, and be able to provide evidence of, the legal right to work and reside in the United States, and have a bachelor's degree.
