Vienna Adventist Academy is a PK-8th grade school nestled in the beautiful city of Vienna, Virginia. We are minutes away from Great Falls, Washington, DC, and Tyson's Corner. VAA has a strong community and history in Northern Virginia. The school has experienced great success over the past few years as we have grown the academic, extracurricular, and spriritual programs. We are looking for a 1st & 2nd grade teacher who is excited to work in a healthy, collaborative, school culture with strong veteran teachers. Our students are academically curious, loving, young people who want to be a part of a warm school family.

A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of education is required.  Ideal candidates will be creative and collaborative, with exemplary interpersonal skills. While applicants with at least three years of classroom teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in progress or completed are preferred, this is not a requirement. We are seeking educators who are passionate about Jesus Christ and inspire students to develop a meaningful relationship with Him. Additionally, we value educators who recognize the importance of diversity, embrace ongoing professional development, and are willing to spearhead new initiatives as needs arise.
