Dallas Christian Academy (DCA) is seeking a Seventh-Day Adventist, Christ-loving teacher to serve as a spiritual leader to all people on campus. DCA is a pre-K through 12th-grade school with over 100 students and shares a campus with Dallas First Church of SDA.

This position is for a High School History Teacher who can effectively manage a classroom and engage students with diverse learning styles. The teacher should deliver competitive and academically rigorous lessons while fostering a lifelong love of learning through positive interactions with the subject matter. 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, Christ-centered instruction aligned with the Adventist curriculum
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and spiritually enriching classroom environment
• Integrate faith and learning while promoting academic excellence
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the church community to support student development
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with parents and administration
• Participate in school activities, professional development, and staff meetings
• Uphold school policies, safety standards, and Adventist educational principles

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in History from an accredited institution
• Denominational teaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Active membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Experience in History preferred
• Strong commitment to integrating faith and learning
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to inspire and engage students in a Christ-centered environment
