Inspire Excellence. Cultivate Faith. Change Lives Through Music.

Milo Adventist Academy is seeking a mission-minded Seventh-day Adventist Music Teacher who has a passion for Jesus, a love for high school students, and a commitment to using music as a ministry.

We are looking for someone who believes that musical excellence is ultimately about leading others to Christ. Our desire is to find a teacher who seeks God daily, shares God's love naturally, and inspires students to use their musical gifts in service to Him.

Our Music Program

Milo currently has a thriving choir and handbell program, and we are excited to expand our offerings. Depending on the gifts and interests of the successful candidate, opportunities exist to develop programs such as:

  • Concert Band
  • String Ensemble or Orchestra
  • Percussion Ensemble, Drum Corps, or Kettle Drums
  • Other musical ensembles that enrich our campus and ministry

Student groups typically participate in 4–7 ministry tours and performance trips each year, providing meaningful opportunities to share Christ through music in churches, schools, and communities.

Additional Responsibilities

The successful candidate may also have the responsibility to:

  • Teach or lead a Bible class
  • Advise the yearbook staff
  • Provide private or small-group music lessons to strengthen and grow the music program
