Description

Responsible for all hardware and software on desktop computer and other end user devices including security. Also, must help maintain all devices in classrooms that are connected to the classroom computer or network including audio/visual equipment.

Required Experience
  • Required - Two-year degree in computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience replacing computer hardware and troubleshooting all versions of Windows.
  • Preferred but not required - Four-year bachelor's degree in computer-related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on communication and relationship development with colleagues and students.
  • A strong desire to work as a member of a high performing team with excellent results.
  • Ability to use technology and software.
  • Ability to write small programs or scripts to automate tasks.
  • Ability to install and maintain audio, camera, and presentation systems for classrooms.
  • Needs to be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions as well as be able to find answers to questions in printed and electronic materials.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • A patient and organized approach.
  • The ability to meet deadlines.

Special Requirements

  • An expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church; a Seventh-day Adventist church member in good and regular standing.
  • Must be currently authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
