Ephesus Junior Academy (EJA) is currently seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Instructional Assistant to support the educational ministry of the school. The Instructional Assistant will work collaboratively with Lead Teachers and school administration to provide academic, administrative, and supervisory support that promotes a positive, Christ-centered learning environment for all students. This position plays a vital role in enhancing student learning, maintaining an organized classroom environment, and supporting daily school operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering the academics, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students.
Responsibilities
Able to provide academic support
Experience in managing a classroom
Experience with mentoring students in a Christ-centered environment
Ability to prepare instructional materials and maintain students' records
Requirements
Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Achieved no less than a Bachelor’s Degree
Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
Sterling Volunteers clearance
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma
Prefers an Associate degree, college credits, or teachers' certification
Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
Prior teaching experience preferred
