Bethel Junior Academy is seeking dedicated, passionate, innovative and motivated teacher for first grade. The school is accredited by the North American Division Commission on Accreditation, the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities, the National Council for Private School Accreditation, and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation.

Bethel Junior Academy is located in Homestead, Florida, minutes away from the beaches and numerous family and children oriented attractions.

As a K-8 school, Bethel is committed to educating students through teachers' commitment to teaching, nurturing and modeling Christ. The desired candidates will challenge and empower each student to develop spiritually, physically, socially, and strive for academic excellence. Additionally, candidates should approach teaching with the educational philosophy which is to provide a sound Christ-centered, uniquely Seventh-day Adventist education in which the student is taught to cherish the teachings of the Bible, maintaining at the same time a high degree of academic excellence. 

We are seeking an educator who:

• Is an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
• Is legally eligible to reside and work in the United States of America
• Has a bachelor's degree, and hold denominational certification or is willing to work towards one
• Supports the mission and philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist education
• Possesses strong classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates strong instructional practices and has a passion for student success
• Utilizes instructional technology to enhance student engagement and learning
• Meets students at their academic and developmental levels while encouraging growth and excellence
• Integrates faith and learning across the curriculum
• Values collaboration, professionalism, and ongoing spiritual and professional development
