Description

The Life Coach is responsible for the achievement of excellent services in coaching, academic advising, academic support skills, and non-academic support tools. This individual will be a partner in implementing strategic initiatives related to student retention, engagement, and graduation, and will assume programmatic support responsibilities.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in teaching university-level courses and/or adults preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in higher education preferred.
  • Holds or is able/willing to obtain life coach certification.
  • Able to create and maintain good working relationships with students.

Special Requirements

  • An expressed commitment to Jesus Christ, the teachings, and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church; a Seventh-day Adventist church member in good and regular standing.
  • Must be currently authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
