The Learning Systems Administrator is responsible for technical support of the official university-wide instructional technology systems (such as the Learning Management System, video hosting solution, etc.). The Learning Systems Administrator reports to the Director of Online Operations. As an exempt salaried employee, this position is paid to carry on the duties of the job description which may exceed the hours of a normal work week, especially in peak weeks each semester and when system outages occur.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
• Knowledge of education field strongly preferred
• Experience in higher education instructional technology technical support preferred
• Experience working with MySQL, HTML, CSS, PHP, and SFTP preferred
• Knowledge of Moodle LMS is preferred. Additional LMS experience is a plus.
• Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing
