Maintains, repairs, and installs power on H.V.A.C. and refrigeration equipment in campus housing and university buildings by performing the following duties. Maintains, inspects and installs all heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, fans, vacuum pumps, air compressors, vents, ducts, and pneumatic and DDC control systems on the university campus. Rotates weekend shifts to take call for emergency service calls including repairs beyond normal work hours as required. Must be within twenty minutes of the University for quick response when on call. Cross trained to operate automatically fired boilers, chillers and perform maintenance on chilled water systems throughout campus.
