Sierra View Junior Academy is seeking an enthusiastic teacher for grades 7-10 committed to the mission of Adventist Education. We are looking for someone willing and able to teach PE, Science, and History. However, we are open to other options. Sierra View Junior Academy is thriving with a supportive community, board, and active constituent churches. The school is a K-10 school and delivers a top-notch program for its students. Curricular and extracurricular activities include music, athletics, class trips and activities, and student-led worship events at the school and local churches. Located in the middle of beautiful citrus groves in Exeter, CA, we are only 45 minutes from Sequoia National Park in the Sierras and 2 1/2 hours from beach areas such as Morro Bay, San Simeon, and Cambria.

Candidates will be committed to the mission of Adventist Education and relish the opportunity to teach in a country setting in the Central Valley agricultural region of California. Applicants must be active Seventh-day Adventist church members eligible to work in the United States. (Hold current work visa and residency in the US if not a US citizen.) The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: 1) holds or is qualified to receive NAD teaching certification; 2) a team player; 3) maintains a Spiritual presence and commitment; 4) has a passion for the development of young people and is on fire for Jesus Christ; 5) knowledgeable concerning junior high and high school curriculum 6) possesses the skills of organization, follow-through, and communication; 7) being bilingual in English and Spanish would be a plus. The salary range for this position is $52,150 to $67,894 based on North American Division certification, experience, and cost of living adjustment.
